This weekend has been a busy, busy weekend. Only because we have had things going on. This weekend we decided to start our staining project. Way back when, we bought the console table and mission table in natural wood finish. It was a good buy and looked great in the old apartment. This weekend we started to change the natural finish to a dark walnut finish to match the rest of our new furniture in the house. It is a task and a half, but had been fun working together to get it going.
This past week I worked a total of a whopping 2 days. We had MLK day off. I went up to Chicago on business Monday night and Tuesday and school was called off Thursday for the cold. Have to love those days where there is no school and you can still get around ok. :) Love being a teacher.
This next week we look forward to seeing a living legend: Bill Cosby. We are heading home to see him at the local Theatre. It should be a good show. Not much else is going on. Taking it slow and living life. Hope all finds you well.
